Valid Legal Process

The type of data we can disclose depends on the legal authority presented:

• Subpoena — Basic subscriber information (email, account creation date, last login).
• Court Order (2703(d) or equivalent) — Account metadata and non-content records.
• Search Warrant — Content of records to the extent available, scoped to the warrant.
• Preservation Request — Up to 90 days of preservation pending valid legal process.

Emergency Disclosure

In cases involving an emergency involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury, we may voluntarily disclose information to law enforcement on a good-faith basis. Submit emergency requests via emergency@bustersense.comwith subject line EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST. Requests should include the agency contact information, the legal authority invoked, and a narrative of the emergency. We respond as quickly as possible.

What We Do Not Have

WeRoll's architecture intentionally limits what is collected and retained. We do not have the following data available for production:

• Continuous historical location of vendors when not broadcasting.
• Movement profiles of individual followers across sessions.
• Off-platform behavior or cross-app tracking data.
• Private messages between users (WeRoll has no in-app messaging).
• Payment card information (handled by Stripe; we do not store cards).

User Notification

We will notify affected users of legal requests when permitted by law, unless the request involves an emergency, contains a non-disclosure order, or notification would be counterproductive to a legitimate investigation.

Transparency

We publish a periodic transparency report summarizing the number and type of legal requests received and our compliance rate. See /transparency for the latest report.

Retention Limitations

Data we no longer hold cannot be produced. Retention windows are documented at /governance. Preservation requests do not extend retention beyond what is technically available at the time of the request.
