You can request deletion of your WeRoll account and all associated personal data at any time. We process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@bustersense.com from the email address associated with your WeRoll account.
- Use the subject line: Delete My WeRoll Account.
- Include your account email so we can verify the request.
We will reply to confirm the request and again once your account has been deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, password hash, authentication identifiers).
- Your vendor profile (business name, description, category, links, profile photo).
- Your follower/follow relationships.
- Stored location pin (if you set one).
- Push and email notification preferences.
- App interaction analytics tied to your user ID.
- Active and historical Go Live broadcast sessions.
What we retain (and why)
- Billing records (up to 7 years): Stripe subscription and payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations. These records are kept by our payment processor (Stripe) and reference an internal ID rather than your account profile after deletion.
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics: Anonymized usage statistics that cannot be tied back to your account are retained.
- Server access logs (up to 90 days): Standard request logs (no personal data beyond hashed IP) are retained for security and abuse prevention, then automatically purged.
